Gatton Country Fair 2017

Gatton Country Fair is a great day out for all the family. This annual fair takes place on the first Sunday in July and has stalls and attractions from environmental, countryside and wildlife organisations. The main area of the fair takes place on the Victorian parterre but you can also explore the wider parkland and gardens at Gatton Park.


Activities and attractions at the fair


The following gives an idea of some of the attractions and activities that will be available at the event:


Redstone Community Big Band, Harpist, Students from the Royal Alexandra and Albert School, inChoir


Dog show, birds of prey displays provided by Henfold Birds, working Newfoundland dogs, pony rides and sheep.

Local environmental organisations

Surrey Bat group, Surrey Wildlife Trust, Countryside Rangers, Reigate Beekeepers and get your bike repaired with Bikes Revived.


Circus skills workshop, Punch and Judy show, children’s fair ground, tractor rides, bouncy castle, craft and wildlife stalls.


Greenwood working, children’s activities, face painting, coconut shy, punting on the serpentine.

Food stalls

Local ice cream dairy, barbeque, hot doughnuts, bakery, tea room van, wood fired pizza and Pimms bar.

Our bird hide is open for visitors and you can follow the walk around the lake.

The Fair is on the first Sunday in July every year 12pm – 5pm. There is a charge of £7.00 for adults and children are free.
