Enjoy a lecture, walk and talk or art and craft activity or enjoy a concert or outdoor cinema – all our events are listed below.

Orchid Society of Great Britain Winter Show

 

Orchid Show in Gatton Hall and the last remaining glasshouse of Sir Jeremiah Colman. Free talks, film screenings and activities for children.

 

12.30-2.30pm. There is no entry charge, but a donation would be appreciated.

National Trust/Gatton Trust‘Capability’ Brown Walk

 

A walking talk taking in the whole of Gatton Park to learn about Brown’s vision for Gatton and how this landscape is managed today. A joint tour by the Gatton Trust and The National Trust. Meet at Wray Lane car park. Good level of fitness required.

Friday 10th December

A Christmas Carol – In conjunction with the Archway Theatre Company

 

Get into the Christmas spirit and enjoy a solo performance of ‘A Christmas Carol’ as read by Charles Dickens himself. Live piano accompaniment and sound effects. Come in Victorian costume (optional) and help to create the authentic atmosphere.


8pm. Cost: £8 including mulled wine and mince pie.
